The 2006 "Stampy"®  Awards

The 8th Annual Food Stamp Forum is being held at the historic Crest Theater in downtown Sacramento on November 15th.  We thought this locale was fitting for an Oscars®-like award ceremony honoring the year's best achievements in improving food stamps in California.

We are asking members of the Academy (you and anyone else who cares about food stamps in California) to help develop the list of nominees for this prestigious event.  Please fill out a nomination form below.  You may make multiple nominations.  Feel free to nominate in more than one category.  You may nominate more than one person/organization in each category (just return to this page to make another submission).

The deadline for nominations is September 30, 2006.  We want to allow plenty of time to allow the Academy to vote on the final winners.  An official ballot of nominees will be distributed in early October.

Please note: a special lifetime achievement awardee has already been chosen. All other awardees will be subject to a vote by the Academy.
