ENACT 2006: Nutrition & Activity Day spotlights the urgent need to improve California’s nutrition and physical activity environments. The day begins with a training from 10:00 AM to noon that focuses on (1) the impact of poor nutrition and activity choices on Californians' health; (2) policy opportunities to improve the nutrition & physical activity environments in our state; and (3) how to educate legislators and their staff about these critical issues. Then, in the afternoon, ENACTers will meet with their Assembly Members and Senators to put what they've learned into practice.

Here are the three policy issues that will be our focus on ENACT Day.
