2002 County Profiles of Poverty, Hunger & Food Assistance

2003 profiles now available!  Click here.

The county profiles below, are self-contained, county-specific documents that demonstrate the situation of poverty, hunger, and food assistance in your county.  We hope these as educational and advocacy tools can be used with decision-makers, emergency food providers, health professionals, anti-hunger advocates, media, and the general public.  These documents provide evidence of the extent to which the federal food programs are underutilized.

Please note that these profiles will be continually updated with new data as it becomes available.  If you have any questions regarding how the data in the profiles were estimated, please see the Data Methodology.

Tip: The profiles are meant to be one-paged documents, front and back.  You may consider keeping this format when printing or copying.
